The third round followed the pattern and ended in an impressive move when Golovkin just flattened Ishida with a single right hand knocking him clean out. Ishida's head hit the bottom rope and he stayed motionless for about a minute before getting back on his feet. Prince of Monaco Albert II personally put the champion’s belt on Golovkin. Kazakhstan Olympic winner Aleksandre Vinokourov was also seen in the hall. After the fight Golovkin said that Ishida was a good boxer and once again mentioned he wanted to fight with Argentinean Sergio Martinez. Golovkin also mentioned wanting to fight in June and named Brian Vera and Matthew Macklin as his possible opponents. Gennady Golovkin (also known as GGG) is an undefeated boxer from Kazakhstan who competed in the Middleweight (75 kg) divison at the 2004 Summer Olympics and won the silver medal. He is the current WBA and IBO Middleweight Champion.
